November 1,2016 Fishing Report

Lake Level 911.2
Normal Pool 915
Water Temp 70-74 degrees

The bass fishing on Table Rock has been decent this week. For the most part to get bit I have been fishing the wide open gravel flats and points on the mainlake from Kimberling to Shell Knob and the James from Aunts Creek to Thompson’s area. Fish are somewhat scattered but when you do find some they’re likely to bite. Been doing the best on the 4” Chompers drop shot worm in brown/purple laminate, watermelon candy, a 1/2 ounce white spoon and night crawlers some. Depths of these bottom fish vary so much, with the thermocline broken up they can go about as deep as they want but the most consistent area I’ve been seeing them and catching on the mainlake is 40′-50’+ and further up in the river arms 32′-40.
Earlier in the morning Ive been catching a few nicer largemouth and smallmouth here and there on a 1/4 black buzzbait and chatter bait before the sun gets up high. Anywhere where there is bigger, shelf rock can be holding a few on the right morning. Maybe when it cools down this bite will get better on Table Rock.
