May 27, 2018 Table Rock Lake Fishing Guide Report Branson MO

Lake Level 916.8
Normal Pool 915
Water Temp 79-82 degrees

Bass are biting excellent on Table Rock! Early morning top water has been great most mornings from the Dam to Shell Knob areas and James River. All 3 bass species are shallow feeding on shad on flat gravel banks, secondary points and bluff ends with timber. Some are schooling, busting on top most are just coming out of nowhere to bite the topwater. Try using the 110 size whopper plopper and super spook jr. After the sun gets out and top water bite quits try backing off the same banks and try swimming a 4 ” Chompers singletail grub in smoke or watermelon red colors. Keep your boat in the 15′-20′ range try using a 3/16 or 1/8 head swimming the grub slowly to moderate speeds for bites of smallmouth and kentuckies or fish a 1/8 or 3/32 ounce ned rig on the bottom for bites if the bite gets slower when it’s sunny and calm.
