May 12, 2018 Table Rock Lake Fishing Guide Report Branson MO

Lake Level 916.4
Normal Pool 915.0
Water Temp 68-74 degrees

What a great week it’s been fishing on Table Rock Lake. Smallmouth bass, Kentucky and Largemouth bass are shallow one end of the lake to the other and biting. Pre spawn and post spawn fish are up shallow hungry. Smallmouth around the Dam to Kimberling City up the White to the Campbell Point to Shell Knob areas are on flat gravel wind blown banks 5′-12′ deep hitting a single tail Chompers grub in smoke/black flake or watermelon red flake swam off the bottom. Try using a 3/16 ounce head winding it in slowly for bites on the retreive pausing it a few times each cast. The top water fishing is great as well! Back in pockets early and the cloudy days there’s been nice Kentuckies and Largemouth being caught on super spook Jr’s, Pop-R’s and flukes in and around timber.

In memories of one of the best fishermen and best of men,
gone but never forgotten
