JULY 9, 2017 TABLE ROCK LAKE FISHING GUIDE REPORT BRANSON, MO

Lake Level 920.0
Normal Pool 915
Water Temp 78-82 degrees

Fishing on Table Rock has been great this week.  With the high colored water and no thermocline bass are being caught a lot shallower for this time of year. Early and on cloudy days look for some smallmouth action around the dam to Baxter 5-12′  deep on the gravel flat banks. Try fishing a green pumpkin 3/8 football jig, ned rig or green pumpkin tube.

The drop shot bite is going great as well. Fish are schooled up in 18-25′ of water close to the bottom on the gravel flat points. Also have been starting to catch some suspended in a few deeper trees and ends of deep boat docks in the same depth.  Been doing the best dropping a watermelon/candy Chompers 4″ worm and nightcrawlers.

Taneycomo trout fishing has been a blast! Has been none or very little water running in the mornings this week I have been mainly fishing the downtown Branson area to Monkey Island with a pink trout worm or micro jig. Use about a 6′ leader below a float of 2lb fluorocarbon. In the mornings look for them midging on top also try an 1/8 ounce sculpin jig.  With the water moving later in the afternoons try drifting an inflated cut in half night crawler or chartreuse and orange gulp eggs on a drift rig.
