August 31,2018 Table Rock Lake Fishing Guide Report Branson, MO

Lake Level 913.8
Normal Pool 915
Water Temp 79-81 degrees

Bass fishing on Table Rock Lake this summer continues to be excellent. A steady consistent deep bite on the lake’s Kentucky bass has been one of the best in year’s . The magic depth still seems to be around the 30′ depth, either on bottom or suspended. Early in the morning or cloudy days may be a little shallower or a little deeper on the main lake flat gravel points and run outs, as well as some suspended over the deep trees and boat docks with 50′ or more of water on the ends.  Fish have been really schooled up making them easy to find biting on Chomper’s 4” drop shot worms in watermelon candy, brown/purple lam 1/2 ounce white or chrome spoons and night crawlers. Also a good football jig bite is starting on the same gravel banks. Some smallmouth are biting the jig early up a bit shallower then backing out in the same 25′-30′ depth to join the spotted bass friends. Drag the jig in that depth using brown/purple or green pumpkin candy with a Zoom speed craw trailer.

In memory of one of the best fishermen and best of men,
gone but never forgotten
