April 7 2018 Table Rock Lake Fishing Guide Report Branson, MO

Lake Level 916.9
Normal Pool 915
Water Temp 49-52 degrees

Been a good week bass fishing on Table Rock even dealing with the rain and up and down weather changes. Fish are trying to move up shallow and do their part if Mother Nature would let them! For the most part I’ve been fishing the stained water from Kimberling City to Shell Knob doing the best throwing a wiggle wart and rock crawler on mainlake and secondary points catching some nice spots and smallmouth with an occasional largemouth mixed in. Try the crawler earlier in the morning that gets deeper and wart later in the day if the water warms up on points and banks with a mix of gravel and rock. If the fish are reluctant to bite the crankbaits you can try throwing the Alabama Rig in the dirty water back off to a bit deeper water and fish it slower. The moss is bad on the bottom so keep it off contacting the bottom or get slimed up. The A-rig is working better around the Dam in the clearer water on most days. The moss is bad around there too in a lot of places hard to fish any baits on the bottom.  Look for the same flatter banks and points and fish to be in the 8-15′ range . Also try a jerkbait and underspin.

In memory of one of the best fishermen and best of men,
Gone but never forgotten
